Comparison to Conventional Chemotherapy
Conventional chemotherapy drugs are not specifically taken into cells. They are just injected into the patient's blood, the cells are exposed to the drug in blood, and some cells (both cancerous cells and healthy cells) randomly take some drug into the cell along with other substances. Other cells never do take up the drug even though they are exposed to it.
